As we take time to evaluate 2020 and set goals for next year I want to encourage you to do this with God.

Some of you might be asking how can I sit down with god to set goals? Or maybe, He’s too busy to take time to help me with my goals.

Here’s what I do.

I start with prayer. Mine goes something like this, God, Dan here.  Let me start by saying thank you.  Thank you for making time to hear me. I know you’re busy, but do you think you could give me some guidance on what to read in the bible and also help me to set some goals for this next year that will allow me to live the life you NEED me to live.  Thanks

Then I close my eyes and open the bible and start reading. He always guided me to what I really needed to read.

As I start to set goals then he fills my mind with visions of where he needs me.

After your goals are set and written down now comes the hardest part.

Trust that God will make those goals happen.This is the most important part, trust. KNOWING with all your heart that God helped you set the goals and now KNOWING that he will help you accomplish those same goals and so much more.

Get out there, listen to God, and set some massive goals for 2021.
